Diane has been with us since March of 2014. She brings 12 years of experience to the table and graduated from St. Petersburg College.  Her love of felines and dentistry led her to pursue a career with us. Diane is a happy, outgoing person and a joy to have at The Cat Hospital of Tampa Bay. Her calm demeanor is an asset when we have an anxious patient.

Diane and her family moved from Montego Bay, Jamaica to the St. Petersburg area when she was eight years old. She enjoys being outdoors, especially if it involves the beach.

Diane lives with her two children Olivia and Jackson, plus her four cats: Charlie, K-Lindo, Leibe and Robyn.  The newest addition to Diane's family is Lucy, a rescue dog from the Grand Bahamas Humane Society.

Dr. Lee has been at The Cat Hospital of Tampa Bay since 2011.  She has always been a cat lover since she was little, and she was always the kid who brought sick stray cats home.  Over the years, the desire to be able to help the strays inspired her to pursue her goal of becoming a veterinarian!  She graduated from Florida State University with a Biology degree, and then graduated with Honors from the College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Florida in 2002.

While in veterinary school, Dr. Lee served as the President of the Student Chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), and was an advocate for promoting feline education and hands-on experience for her fellow students.  She worked closely with feline expert Dr. Levy and had published journals in the Journal of American Veterinary Medical Association.  At graduation, Dr. Lee was recognized for her excellence in feline medicine and surgery by the AAFP.

Dr. Lee was an active volunteer for Operation Catnip, a local TNR (trap-neuter-return) program for feral cats, while she was at school.  After graduation, she continues to be a volunteer of TNR program at Animal Coalition of Tampa where she also served on the Board of Directors for several years.
